Chiltern Global was founded by Matthew Butterworth, who spent 30 years as an officer in the Metropolitan Police, much of that time leading operational teams in organised crime and specialist departments. He founded Chiltern Global to bring that frontline, mission-focused perspective into the design and delivery of specialist equipment for defence, police and security users.

Save the Children Fund
Global Framework Supplier
MWG holds a formal framework contract with Save the Children (Save the Children Fund) for the global supply of medical goods and equipment supporting emergency health operations, including mobile field hospitals and Emergency Health Unit deployments. The agreement was novated to MWG from a predecessor entity and now sits directly with MWG.
Mobile Field Hospitals
Epidemic Response — Sierra Leone
Members of the MWG leadership team previously supported the supply of mobile field hospitals for the capability of Ebola treatment clinics in Sierra Leone. This included the provision of critical medical equipment, consumables and supporting infrastructure, configured for urgent deployment into a high-risk operating environment.

Full-Scale Medical Equipment Packages
Our leadership team has acted as the dedicated medical procurement partner for a large hospital construction project in an African nation. Working alongside the prime contractor and design teams, they specified, sourced, consolidated and delivered the complete medical and associated equipment package from bill-of-materials development through to final handover. MWG has since been appointed as the medical procurement partner for a forthcoming hospital build in the region.
